Dhala 1 : (Stanza -12)


तीन लोक का नाज जु खाय,मिटे न भूख,कणा न लहाय,
यह दुःख बहु-सागरलौ  सहें,करम-जोगते नर गति लहें.

शब्दार्थ१.तहां-उस नरक की
२.परसत-स्पर्श
३.इसो-होता है
४.सहस-१०००

भावार्थ उन नरको मैं इतनी तीव्र भूख लगती हैं की यदि मिल जाए तो तीनो लोक का अनाज एकसाथ खा जाए, तथापि क्षुधा शांत न हो; परंतु वाहा खाने के लिए एक दाना भी नही मिलता! उन नारको मे यह जीव ऐसे अपर दुख दीर्घकाल भोगता हैं! फिर किसी शुभकर्म के उदय से यह जीव मनुष्यगति प्राप्त करता हैं!

Word Meaning: Teendok Kau Anna-entire stock of food grains of all the three parts of the universe. in Khaay-al lowed eating. Mitai Na Bhookh-hunger will not be satisfied Kannu Na Luhatty-not even a grain is available.E Dukh-these sufferings. Hahn Saagur Latin-for many ‘Sanars’ (a very long period of time). Sahai-suffered. Karam Jogate-with the fruition of Karma. Narbhav-human form of life. Lahai-got.

Translation: Even if infernal living beings were given entire food stocks of the three worlds of the universe, their hunger would not be satisfied and yet, they receive not a grain to eat. Here in this life, the soul has suffered natural and other intense sufferings for very long periods of time. At the end of the infernal life, by fruition of auspicious karma the soul is born as a human being.
