Dhala 1 : (Stanza – 8)

बध-बंधन अदिक दुःख घने,कोटि जीव ते जात न भने,
अति संक्लेश भाव जो धरयो,घोर स्वभ्र सागर में परयो.

शब्दार्थ
1.बध-बंधन-बलि,बंधन,पिटाई,सुताई अदि.
2..कोटि जीव-करोरों जिव्हाओं से
3..जात न भने-कहा नहीं जा सकता
4..संक्लेश-खोटे भाव
5.घोर स्वभ्र-नरक रुपी गहरा सागर

भावार्थ: इस जीव ने त्रियांचगति में मारा जाना, बाँधना आदि अनेक दुख सहन किये; जो करोड़ो जिभो से भी नही कहे जा सकते और अंत में इतने बुरे परिणामो (अंतर्ध्यान ) से मारा की जिसे बड़ी कठिनता से पर किया जा सके ऐसे समुद्र समान घोर नरक मे जा पहुँचा!

Badh Bandhan Aadik Dukh Ghanein,Koti Jeebha Tein Jaat Na Bhanein;Ati Sanklesh-Bhaava Tein Marau,Ghor Subhrasaagar Mein Parau.

Word Meaning: Badh-being butchered. Bandhan Aadik-being bound etc. Dukh Ghanehz-Severe suffering. Koti-Crores/millions, Jeebha Tein-by tongues. Jaat Na Bhanein-cannot be narrated. Au i Sanklesh Bhaava Tein-with intense mental torture. Marau-died. Ghor Subhrasaagar Meitz-into the ocean of infernal (hell) I lie Pavau-fell.

Translation: As an animal, the soul faces being butchered and bound. The suffering is so intense that it cannot be narrated by millions of tongues. Thus it dies under extreme torture and falls in to the terrible infernal (hell) realm.
